Dr. Ryan Rucker is a highly seasoned educator (11+ years) within the Information Technology and Instructional Design fields and backed with professional industry experience. He has taught online, hybrid and face-to-face courses at multiple public and private institutions to include:

- University of Arizona (School of Information)
- University of South Carolina (College of Engineering and Computing)
- New England College (School of Graduate and Professional Studies)
- NC State University (College of Education)
- George Mason University (College of Education)
- Midlands Technical College (College of STEM)
His primary research interests are technology adoption within all educational environments, effective course design and delivery, and the implementation of quality assurance measurements within the online classroom. Some of his recent published articles can be found in the Quarterly Review of Distance Education, Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration, Distance Learning, Journal of online Higher Education and Journal of Educational Technology Systems. In addition, Dr. Rucker is a certified Quality Matters Peer Reviewer and Master Reviewer, along with having the Online Learning Consortium’s online teaching certificate.
